Student & Parent Information

Colorado ACTS Location
11455 W I-70 Frontage Road North
Wheat Ridge, CO 80033

Some of our outreach classes meet off-site. If you register for one of our outreach classes, the location will be listed in the class description.

Commitment
Please consider carefully your commitment to a class. It is imperative for students to attend all rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and performances. Pre-approved absences, illness, and emergencies are understandable reasons for a student to miss class. Beyond these reasons, it is the expectation that students attend all of the listed rehearsals and performances. Please take note of the dress/tech rehearsals and performances that are listed on your class description to be sure you can commit fully.

First Day of Class
When you arrive on the first day for your class or camp, please enter through the front door and walk straight down to the hallway to the theater space. The teacher(s) will be there to greet you. Once all students and parent(s) are present, there will be a brief meeting to discuss class expectations and logistics that are relevant to parents.

Performances
Classes and summer camps at Colorado ACTS culminate in a performance open to the public. Most classes/camps perform more than once.

Ticketing Policy
Each performance is a ticketed event, with tickets available in advance online (with the exception of summer camp performances). Colorado ACTS uses the ShowTix4U ticketing platform. Links to purchase tickets can be found on our Performances page. Parents will also be emailed with ticket purchasing information a couple of weeks before the show performs.

Colorado ACTS policy is that parent’s pay for a ticket for each performance they attend. Parents are encouraged to volunteer to help with the concessions room or request to be trained to run our box office if they would like to attend a performance free of charge. These volunteer positions are given a free ticket for themselves and one family member.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to the Colorado ACTS office at coloradoacts@yahoo.com with any questions regarding performances and/or tickets.

Summer Camps
Summer camp performances at Colorado ACTS are not ticketed. A suggested donation of $3/person paid at the door is appreciated, including parents attending a performance.

Tuition & Refund Policy
Please review our full Tuition Policy. In the event that Colorado ACTS must close in-person classes due to a pandemic or other state of emergency, classes will be converted to virtual classes until students are able to safely return to the theater. Performances would be postponed until a later date. No credits, discounts or refunds will be given. If a student must drop a class for an emergency situation, tuition refunds will be reviewed on a case by case basis and will need to be approved by the Executive Board.

COVID Updates
Updated: 3/18/2022
Colorado ACTS is committed to the health and well-being of our students and staff. Throughout the pandemic, Colorado ACTS has always followed all state and local mandates in regards to masking, distancing, and safety precautions. We have thankfully avoided any outbreaks of COVID in our classes thus far, and we hope that this continues to be the case. Currently, our Summer 2022 classes and camps will NOT be requiring masks in classes. This could change if state or local mandates change. In order to stay in operation, Colorado ACTS must follow and respect any mandates that may come during this upcoming semester.
