Transitions can be fun and/or difficult, but must be faced nevertheless! So it is with Colorado ACTS. We had hoped last spring to be transitioning into the Fruitdale School about this time. However, the Jeffco School Board did not address the issue at the August meeting. It is scheduled for discussion for the September meeting now. If Colorado ACTS is able to indeed use this building, as we continue to hope for and pray about, it will not happen for quite awhile even then, as there are some major repairs to fund and complete before we could take up residence. Our school is, instead, transitioning to rented space for our rehearsals again. The Tuesday homeschool class will meet at HOPE in Arvada. The Friday morning classes will meet at Trinity Presbyterian at 77th and Wadsworth. Creative Dramatics on Thursday afternoons will meet at Pinebrooke at 80th and Simms. WE DO NOT YET HAVE A SPACE FOR OUR TUESDAY AND THURSDAY EVENING CLASSES WHICH BEGIN NEXT WEEK. Perhaps your church or rec center might have space that Colorado ACTS could rent on these nights. Would you be so kind as to check to see?? The classes meet from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and the space needs to accommodate about 40. (I called my church which was only available every other Thursday night.) Time is short and you might be the answer to our current prayer! Please pray the following: God would provide a space for the Tuesday and Thursday classes before Tuesday, September 4th. The Jeffco School Board will grant permission for the Fruitdale School to transition into the hands of the next caretakers. Colorado ACTS will be chosen to use the building. The funding and repairs will be taken care of in a timely manner. I look forward to updating you next week with the new location for the classes!
