Thank you, Leah!
Dear Leah,
First of all, I cannot tell you what a wonderful time Spencer and I have had on Wednesday nights this summer! It has been fabulous! You truly have a God given gift for directing people with different abilities. You truly amaze me, and I feel blessed to have been a part of this.
Thank you so very much for all the time and effort you have put into this. We truly appreciate it!

A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Description: In one of Shakespeare’s funniest, most enduring stories, meddling fairies create unexpected love triangles among a group of people. Hermia is in love with Lysander. Demetrius is in love with Hermia. Helena is in love with Demetrius. Add to the mix Puck, a fairy with a powerful love potion, and chaos is sure to follow. Now everyone’s in love with Helena, Hermia is hopping mad, and the fairy queen Titania is in love with a man with a donkey’s head!
Shakespeare To Go!
Description: This zany show performs scenes from Shakespeare’s classics A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Taming of the Shrew and As You Like It. Delve in to the world of the great playwright in a casual manner that won’t even feel like the 17th century. This unforgettable show appeals to a younger crowd.
Creative Drama
Description: This class is a great introduction to theater basics. Simple Shakespearian themed plays will be staged using costumes, props, simple scenery and make-up too. Our purpose- to foster a love of theater. *Please bring a water bottle and snack to each class to enjoy during break time*.
A Little Princess
Description: Sara Crewe, heiress to a large fortune, is enrolled at Miss Minchin's Select Seminary Victorian England. At first her life is happy, but news arrives that her father has died and her fortune is lost. Sara is forced to become a servant, scrubbing cobblestones and washing cooking kettles. When a mysterious gentleman from India takes the house next door, some strange and curious things begin to happen. This show is filled with comedy, drama and, most of all, charm. When things turn out splendidly for our clever Sara, it's no wonder she feels just like a little princess.
Evening Classes
Creative Drama: ACT Courageous!
Description: Come be a part of the action in this class! Students will learn and act out famous Bible stories such as David and Goliath and Daniel in the Lions Den. This class is a great way to bring Bible stories to life. Our purpose- to foster a love of theater.
Alice in Wonderland
Description: Follow that rabbit to a delightful, entertaining world of childhood fantasies. Alice journeys into a world of talking animals and comic royalty. There are also the Mad Hatter's frantic tea party, the watch-carrying White Rabbit and talking flowers. The finale has Alice watching a trial, but she suddenly finds herself the accused! This show gives a modern view to an old classic, where nonsense makes quite good sense.
Writing for Actors
Description: Learn to write your own monologue, skit or play! Is there a character you have been dying to invent or a part that you have desperately been wanting to play? Maybe you love to write and want to see your work on stage. The creative things we desire to do are meaningful and often lead to personal lessons. This class will give you a chance to use your creativity to write for the stage. The development of character, stage presence and other important theater elements will be practiced. This class will have several performances throughout the semester as students complete their monologues and skits. The class will build toward a final production which will result from everyone’s contribution.
Omelette: Chef of Denmark
Description: Did you ever wonder where William Shakespeare got his ideas? You’ll learn secrets your English teacher never told you in this zany Elizabethan comedy! Filled with loads of both verbal and physical comedy, Omelette is so much more than just a parody of Shakespeare’s most famous play. Two teams come to the Globe Theatre to compete for the right to provide the plot for Shakespeare’s next great play. Shakespeare decides he wants to see the Danish team perform the comedy of Omelette, but the Scottish team, waiting to perform the tragedy of Macbeth, will stop at nothing to thwart their Danish rivals. Will Shakespeare love the Danish concoction, or will the deeds of the Scots ruin the play? * Students in this class are encouraged to also take the Anything Goes class offered directly after rehearsals.*
“Anything Goes!”
Description: Come and learn the classic songs and dances from the Cole Porter musical 'Anything Goes'. This is a great class for beginners and anyone who wants to brush up on their singing and dancing skills.
After-School and Weekend Classes
