Please Read! Important!
ACTS is in the process of moving. This means that class times and locations may be subject to change. We will do everything we can to make this transition as smooth as possible for our students and families. Because of this move, it is absolutely pertinent that you register your student for the class they want to take on our website (www.coloradoacts.org). If your student is not registered we will not be able to contact you with information regarding meeting location and time. Thanks for your understanding and flexibility during this time of transition. We greatly appreciate it.
After-School & Evening Classes:
A PIRATE’S LIFE FOR ME: A MUSICAL
Description: Aristocrat Roger Goodman has his heart set on a conventional life married to the wealthy Sarah Huffington and living happily ever after. That is, until he finds out she thinks he’s boring and would rather marry a brave and adventurous pirate! Determined to prove himself to his beloved, Roger hires Long John Sliver to tutor him and his newly recruited motley crew in the field of piracy. In exchange for his total pirate makeover, Roger and his crew sail to Treasure Island seeking the chests of gold doubloons Long John buried there. Meanwhile, Sarah knows there’s only one way to win the affections of a true pirate. She dubs herself the Pirate Queen and sets sail with her own crew of lady pirates. With messages in bottles that spread rumors, Captain Blood and the Pirate Queen learn of each other’s formidable reputations, not knowing, of course, each other’s true identity. When Sarah gets the message that Captain Blood is holding her parents captive on Treasure Island, you can guess where the lady pirates are headed next! Treasure Island is soon swimming with retired pirates, lady pirates and other pirate wannabes, including one character who thinks he’s a parrot. It’s not a pirate convention; it’s a game of hide-and-seek!

He even locks up the kingdom’s ruler. When Jack sells the cow for those magic beans the fun really begins. Jack goes up the beanstalk and into the castle where he fights the Giant. In the end the cow is returned, the chicken learns how to lay golden eggs and the good life returns to the kingdom — thanks to Jack.
