The parade is 9-Noon on September 11th. Participants have to line up around 7:30a.m. The good news is that our new location is very close to the parade route so we can park at the new theatre. If you would like to help with the construction or decoration of the float Please call Cindy 303 456-6772…

ACTS IS ON THE MOVE AGAIN!!!

Something wonderful unfolded for ACTS in the course of the last couple of weeks.  We will be moving into a new theater space at the HOPE/Two Roads High School Academy site, in the strip mall located at 9483 W. 58th Avenue, Arvada, CO 80002 Ralston Rd. and Garrison St! Classes Starting in September.
ACTS is very excited about this move, for a number of reasons:
  • The new theater is more spacious, with higher ceilings.
  • We will be paying less rent
  • We will be paying rent to an organization we have good relationship with for years.
  • The strip mall location will give ACTS higher visibility.
Some challenges we face:
  • Packing up to move as our summer family and friends show is shifting into final rehearsals and production.  You all know from experience what tech and performance weeks look like, and now we are adding our move!  We will be announcing packing and moving days by email, texts and facebook. Our final push out of ECHS will more than likely happen in the 3rd or 4th week of August, after Kilroy has closed and Cindy and I have returned from taking our college freshman to their out of state schools.  Stay tuned, we will need as much help as we can muster!
  • We have much, much less storage space in our new facility.  Granted, the storage space at our present location is phenomenal, and highly unusual.  The storage at our new space is more typical, so we are brainstorming ways to get all our “stuff” accessibly stored for use.  One option at present is to build a sizable storage shed behind the building, but that may be prohibitive pricewise.   If anyone has, or knows someone who has empty storage space within a 5 mile radius of the HOPE site we would willingly pay a monthly storage fee to store some of our “stuff.”
  • We will sharing the space with HOPE/Two Roads and Community Church.  Pray for wisdom and good communication as we adjust to blending three separate entities and their scheduling needs in this space.
We here at ACTS are feeling good about this new, open space we are moving into, and excited about what God has in store for us in the future.  If you have any questions about our move, or want to contact us to help you can email Marianne or call Cindy on the ACTS cell phone, 303-456-6772.
